  5. close associate of former Attorney General Edwin Meese; of
  6. racketeering in connection with lobbying efforts for the
  7. defunct Wedtech Corp.; in New York City. The jury found that
  8. Wallach and co-defendants W. Franklyn Chinn and R. Kent London
  9. received a total of more than $1.5 million worth of cash and
  10. stock from the company for using their influence with federal
  11. officials. Wallach faces a sentence of up to 45 years in prison
  12. and $1.3 million in fines.
